Quick Answer
Build 3 case studies: (1) a personal brand you grew, (2) a volunteer/local business project, (3) a structured spec project (e.g. Meta Ads plan for a fictional Kharadi café with budget, audience, and creatives). Be transparent. Show thinking, not just pretty slides.
Case Study Template
- Context: Business type, goal, constraint
- Strategy: Channel choice, audience, offer
- Execution: Screenshots, copy, creatives
- Result: Real metrics or learning (“demo account, simulated ₹50K spend”)

Portfolio — FAQs
What should a digital marketing portfolio include?
Include 2–4 case studies: problem, what you did, tools used, and result (even if result is practice metrics). Add certifications, sample creatives, ad copy, SEO audit snippets, and links to live assets you built (social page, blog, landing page).
Can I use mock projects in my portfolio?
Yes — label them clearly as practice or spec projects. Mock campaigns with real strategy and screenshots from Ads Manager demo accounts are fine. Do not fake client names or invented revenue numbers.
Where should I host my portfolio?
Notion, Google Slides, a simple one-page site, or PDF works. LinkedIn Featured section + a shared doc link is enough for most Pune agency interviews at fresher level.
